Nucleoside diphosphate kinase B (NME2) is ubiquitously expressed; it is an enzyme responsible for the synthesis of nucleoside triphosphates.

NME2 acts as a transcriptional activator, plays a role in T-cell (TCR) receptor activation and TCR-mediated calcium influx. It is also involved in caveolae formation.
