Myosin regulatory light chains 12A/12B are expressed in all non-muscle cells. Both associate with non-muscle myosin heavy chains (NMHC IIA, NMHC IIB) essential light chain (MYL6). They are essential for the integrity of myosin II and are important for cell structure, morphology and dynamic.
