GRB2 is a ubiquitously expressed adaptor protein and a member of the GRB2 family. It contains one Src homology 2 (SH2) and two SH3 domains.
GRB2 plays a critical role in early development. It is involved in intracellular signalling pathways (e.g. Ras, MAPK). It plays a role in cell cycle progression, actin-based cell motility, angiogenesis and cancer metastasis.
